Monday, April 18

This is a view from the "Old Post Office, Clock Tower." It was beautiful! We watched a play called "One Destiny" at Ford's Theatre. It was about two actors recalling the events of Lincoln's assassination. This is the traditional group picture on the steps of the "Bureau of Engraving and Printing." More money than we'll ever see in our lifetime... It's Mr. Anderson's birthday at Chevy's! (Very early birthday!) Today's sightseeing included a lot of "NO PHOTOGRAPHY" signs and lots of walking. So today, we also saw the Jefferson Memorial, the Air and Space Smithsonian, and the National Archives. This included the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. Of course, you can still see the "John Hancock" signature. ;) -Jenna and Hallie PS: Hey parents! :D See ya guys soon!
